We are very excited to offer our Gordon MacDonald collectors and fans the first opportunity to subscribe to our exclusive "Views from the Sketchbook" series. This quarterly subscription will include four original small works on paper by Gordon MacDonald that will be unique works for each subscriber. No work will be the same! They will also be active studies for future paintings by Gordon. Each quarter will be created with a specific painting in mind, and will be created on heavy-weight archival art paper selected by the artist,with a variety of mediums. ONLY 20 subscriptions will be made available.
Each quarter, Gordon will explore a different subject matter and create a finished painting from each. Subscribers will also get the first look at these final paintings and first refusal to purchase any of them, should they want to coincide with the original sketch.
THE DETAILS: Each mailing will include an original 4" x 6" sketch, along with a few words about the piece from Gordon himself. Works will be released on January 15, April 15, July 15 and October 15th, and sent directly to the address of your choosing. The price is $275 +hst. This includes the artworks and postal costs.
We hope to hear from you soon! These works will be a valuable and unique glance into the sketchbook of an artist, and easy to frame as they are standard size. The first installment arrives January 15th, 2019.
