Seeing Is Believing, Take A Virtual Vacation With Art...

We're taking a virtual vacation this week, as we explore some of the amazing destinations represented in our "Get Outta Town" exhibition. Each artwork from the show was inspired by real places.  Favorite vacation spots and local getaways are all on display for your viewing pleasure. You can also experience the exhibition online HERE

For that exotic getaway, we have this warm and inviting Hawaiian inspired painting by Haley Toll. "Glimmers of the Ocean, Hope Through the Trees", 24" x 36", mixed media on canvas (Left). To the right is an image of the Banyan Tree in Hawaii.

Pat Shattuck introduces us to the Lava Fields in Iceland with this stunning watercolour tribute. Approx. 10.5" x 14.5", framed and ready to hang (Left). Situated along Iceland’s south coast, Eldhraun (Right) is the largest lava flow in the world and one of Iceland’s biggest tourist attractions.

You can explore the wonders of the Mediterranean with this incredible painting by Amy Ordoveza. "View of Dubrovnik" is 5" x 7" gouache on paper. Dubrovnik is a city on the Adriactic Sea in southern Croatia, and is one of the Mediterranean's top tourist destinations, as well as a popular filming location!

Now for something a little closer to home. These two sets of images depict beaches in Nova Scotia.  Craig Gunn's "After the Hike", 18" x 24", acrylic on canvas (Above, Left), depicts the Refugee Cove Trail in Cape Chignecto Provincial Park.

Kelly Mitchelmore's "Relinquish" features the scenic coastal wonders of Bayswater Beach. 11" x 14", acrylic on canvas (left). Bayswater Beach Provincial Park is located in Lunenburg County, along the South Shore.

Our "Get Outta Town" exhibition has something to offer everyone. Be sure to drop by the gallery and check it out!
