HAPPY NEW YEAR with HIGH NOON AT NOON: Gordon MacDonald

Happy New Year everyone!  Once again, we are beginning our inventory which also means we are finding some wonderful works that are still looking for homes that we feel are wonderful!  Our annual HIGH NOON AT NOON begins today and continues until January 15th, 2017. HIGH NOON is a time sensitive "sale" on  selected works that the gallery and artist that created them feel is some of their best works...but haven't found a home yet. We'd like to introduce you to these works and hope that some of them find a home with you. We feature ONE  piece of art at HIGH NOON that will be priced at a special price but for just 24 hours!

Today's HIGH NOON featured work is by well-known and loved artist, Gordon MacDonald. Best known to Nova Scotia collectors as the "sky guy". In fact many people, after seeing his works, refer to beautiful skies they see in nature as  "Gordon MacDonald" skies.

This work is called "Over the Pass", Oil on Linen and measures 16" x 18" painted in 2014.
As all paintings by Gordon, this work is better appreciated in person. We often say that when you purchase a Gordon MacDonald work it's almost as if you are buying at least three paintings in one, as the pieces change throughout the day under different lighting conditions.

SOLD Until tomorrow at HIGH NOON, this work sells for $850 and it's regular price is $1300.
