DECEMBER 1st is GIVING TUESDAY!
This year
we are once again collecting items in need for the Navigator Street Outreach Program to distribute to those who need it most RIGHT NOW,
living on the street, facing limited housing stress and in need of some
warmth and personal hygiene assistance.
So things like
toothpaste/toothbrushes, deodorant, per-moistened wipes, hand sanitizer,
hand cream, lip balm,feminine hygiene products, disposable masks, band-aids are great. (UNUSED/UNOPENED ITEMS ONLY)
As well, the following were suggested from Navigator (keep in mind that most folks don't have access to shelter and regular water or heat supply, or even a kitchen etc) :Survival equipment,tarps,sleeping bags,tents,waterproof things,Warm outerwear-gloves, toques, good jackets(washed and safe to donate only please), Socks(NEW ONLY)hand warmers (i.e. the hot pocket kind that activate when you open them),& Good winter boots are in demand but are hard to come by.
