Today is a good DAY to SMILE at Argyle Fine Art
Today....there will be fun and art and merriment all over Barrington Street.
From 1:30-2:30pm, walk past the window across from Starbucks for some "out of this world" surprises. Take pictures too, if you can and share with us here.
We'll be at the gallery waiting for you to pop by there too, as we'll have hot cider, a tasting of GINGER non-alcoholic wine and of course, Nick Brunt on hand painting and taking card orders at the gallery today from 1:30-3:30pm.

Do you have your PRE-SHRUNK voucher yet? There are only 18 more available!
Well, December is upon us and you only have until the end of the month to purchase your PRE-SHRUNK Vouchers for our annual miniature show that opens on Friday, January 25, 2013. We are only selling 40 of these, and we're already at number 23, so the time is now to call us to reserve your voucher. They also make great gifts!!
Why should I buy a voucher? Glad you asked!
If you purchase a voucher, you'll not only save $25 on a work of art, but the number on your voucher indicates your space in line to select the perfect piece. Anyone that doesn't have a voucher, must wait until ALL voucher holders have made their final decisions before we open the show to the masses! The vouchers costs $150 (original price of miniatures will be $175)
As a voucher holder, you will receive a "secret link" to see the works that will be part of the exhibition so you can have your favourites already picked out!

Barry Colpitts! Barry Colpitts! Barry Colpitts!
Did you know that Barry Colpitts has graced the gallery TWICE in the last few weeks with new artwork?!?!! This means that we can finally boast about having a proper, healthy collection of carvings by Mr. Colpitts. We have (amongst other things) little birds in cages, peacocks stacked high, pigs in pairs, hearty pink angels, and seagulls on a whale.

A Meeting of the Birds
We hosted a meeting for Christmas birds this morning, and I'm happy to report that after an intensive deliberation and vote, the birds have decided to spend the holidays here at the gallery.
They've even agreed on making themselves available for purchase,
