We're also excited because we just launched our first of the year-long series, CREATIVE EDITIONS (which you can learn more about by clicking HERE) this past Friday, alongside the opening reception for well-loved artist Gordon MacDonald. Creative Editions is a fun and affordable way to start collecting art, learn about a variety of local artists and support them and local business while your at it. This project is all about art appreciation and building new audiences, and so far it's been received with open arms and happy customers.
The first CREATIVE EDITION for the month of August is called "Study for August at Four" which is a limited edition print of a study Gordon MacDonald painted in preparation for his show, on now at the gallery. It's been wonderful to have people pick up their limited editions and then be able to see how the piece changed from it's beginning to it's final state.
Here's a quick shot of the study (of course more bright and beautiful in person) and then the final piece hanging at Argyle Fine Art. It's so interesting to see the subtle yet important decisions the artist took to create the final piece.
